Advice on 12 Red Hammers form

I was wondering if any of the folks here did the xingyi form known as 12 Hong Punches (十二洪捶), sometimes translated as 12 Red Hammers? It is usually taught sometime after Bashi (八式拳) and Zaishi (雜式捶)

The reason I ask is that I am interested in seeing how people do the one kind of distinctive move in 12 Red Hammers which is the Piercing Fist turning to the left and then back around to the right.

Some people end up doing it as a kind of Crossing/Heng fist, others do it as kind of a Falcon Pierces the Sky deal but with the 180 degree turns.

Any help on that would be appreciated.

Take care,
Brian

That's a tough one! I have seen "older brothers" do the form, but I doubt I will be learning it any time soon (for sure... )... Seemed to have a lot of hengquans, though.
