Rep Power: 69 | | | Xing Yi Master named Li Does anybody have any info on a Xing Yi master named Li He was one of the 5 tigers of Canton. Very famous, It isn't single saber Li, it has to be somebody younger, somebody who would still have been alive in the 60's or 70's, and he spent some time in jail under the communists. |

Rep Power: 69 | | | This is a common kind of naming thing for the old Masters, Probably the more correct name would, the the 5 southbond Tigers, I think not a local(I think the 10 tigers were local) Cantonese, but one of the Northerners who traveled south to teach, but I could be wrong about that was well. |

Rep Power: 100 | | | If this is the person of which you speak, I know very little of him other than the name.
Regarding the others, I'm most familiar with the stories of Gu Rushang (sp), and I believe the names of the other three are Wan Laizheng, Wan Liwu, and Fu Shensong.
Most people may know Gu Rushang as the founder the Guang Zhou Guoshu Association. |
