My teacher learnt from Pei XI Rong. He is Liu Xiao Ling. He's teh same one Ken Fish is hosting all those seminars for.
I do look forwrd to seeing your site when it's done.
Question is being in Shanxi, China, how do you find the quality of Xing Yi. Do they have much emphasis on fighting

Tadzio, you know my sifu Ma Hei Kao, who studied with Wu Chao Xiang a disciple of Bu Xue Kuan from Che Yi Zhai lineage.

1 -Allan, I do Song style XY, which is, of course, Shanxi Xingyi.
Unfortunately not all the teachers stress fighting. I'd say that more than being a teachers problem, it's a familly (men) problem. There are several different men (families) here in Shanxi and I guess I could say with some confidence the ones that stress fighting. I'd say that nowadays there are some 8 teacher in Shanxi that stress combat , partned practice and fighting.
2 - Felipe (and ric), you are absolutely right. Marcello's Bengquan is very efficient. I don't want to be the unlucky one to stay in front of him.
3 - Ric, yeah man, I know your Shifu, guess you can say that. Heard of him through the Net. Would like to meet him some day!

Where are the shanxi guys
I actually found out that a lot of people believe that they do Shanxi style when in fact they do Hebei. Have you ever thought about it
The best example being ...oh well.
