Rep Power: 0 | | | celibacy -jing? hey dude - jing is actually,according to http://acupuncture.com/
index.htm, is Both inherited AND abquired(food-air). But to your question on celibacy, I practice "karezza", a form of stoking the "internal energy" at the tan tien. As well as my yogic background allows me to ejac to my bladder. Otherwise i convert it to mental energy. |

Rep Power: 15 | | I asked my instructor this very question, he said :
"What are you doing over here!! Get back on that side of the class room and finish your Santi practice,"
now, I don't know if this was an answer or frustration...maybe both.
hope it helps

I've heard jing described as applied force or skilled force.(In the context of Pi jing, beng jin, etc...) I don't know how right that is but I'm going to assume for the time being that that is right on. So if Pi is splitting , going up to down with coiling, alignment, etc.. Then wouldn't it be useful to do resistance training to develop more powerful jing Like holding Pi pressing down on a table top or pushing up against a door frame while coiling to develop that part of the rise drill overturn and fall jing. Or pressing forward against a wall to develop that aspect of Pi Anyway, those are some ideas. Let me know if I'm full of crap. They are working okay for me so far. Thanks,
