Rep Power: 100 | | It's about as standard a WMV file as it gets. I had no problem with it. Everyone who doesn't succeed in playing should just go to www.microsoft.com and download the newest version of Windows Media Player. There are also problems playing it directly if sitting behind a firewall that blocks all and everything. It should be possible to right-click on the link and select "save as", downloading it to the local drive, and then play it from there. If this also fails, try the above mentioned upgrade of Media Player.

Good stuff! You must have ghosted our class last night! We practised many of those moves. Mainly pushing away the punch with forward hand,( moving at a 45 forward) simultaniously striking ribs, armpit, then locking hand behind neck bringing it down while striking up with knee and setting other leg behind knee to follow through with takedown. Dang, wish I had a vid of what we did. We also practiced getting grabbed or choked and then pushing away with two fingers in the hollow of the attacker's throat. Or, you can find the nerve by the collarbone and that will drop him too.
The one where you grab the punch, pull down and break with other arm is a move straight out of Bung Bo! Very cool!

Rep Power: 6 | | Nice apps. Loved the elbows.
I found the intention a little one sided though. I would very much like to see those exact apps against movable fast throwing strikes, or better yet, how to apply them if the guy counters or manages to fend the inicial hit.
Just try not to hit him for real if u do this...seems you manage to put your pounds in your strikes quite well. =)

they are new students dude! dont wanna drop them!! but the heavy bruising got the point across!
shocking the guard, crossing the bridge doesnt drop the guy anyways - it gives you the opportunity to drop the guy.
I will make a point to drop them for your pleasure next time!

I think Hsing I should be one sided!
You will notice half way through the clip that i am explaining what happens when someone stops you initial attack, then i folow the arm to Pi chuan again, thenfollow his further check with a Beng.
These are beginners and i am just trying to get the Powers out of the differnt parts of Pi Chuan for now. I will put some more advanced stuff up over the weekend. Will be ba gua though me and Paul applying stuff on eahc other.
Thanks guys
Chris

Rep Power: 6 | | | Beginners...i understand.
I guess im just too used to playing with someone that wants and can hit me twice as fast and twice as hard. So the intention goes both ways here.
Its a very good clip. Keep it up.

Rep Power: 0 | | | Chris... Im not sure what exactly it was all about. But they always seemed to outstretch theiri both hands, no one is going to do that in a real fight... Or was it like if they were to hit you with either hand and you go in |
