Nagoya Basho

Well, the Nagoya summer tournament just finished a few days ago. Sorry I didn't have time to give a play-by-play this time, but it was an exciting event to be sure!

The senior Yokozuna, Asashoryu, won his 21st basho! It was a great win in an exciting tournament, but...

It seems the Mongolian bad-boy may be rubbing the Sumo Association the wrong way...

I have heard that the Sumo Association may be organizing a tour of top Rikishi to California sometime in late 2007/early 2008.

It pains me that I won't be able to make it.
