Rep Power: 100 | | | Its amazing just how much air some of these very large fellas catch sometimes off the dohyo! The tickets for the first few rows of seats are very expensive and not without a degree of risk!

Rep Power: 100 | | | Also amazing is how some of these folks rap each other with open-handed shots to the face/jaw. Some serious shots!

Rep Power: 100 | | | I should say again how impressed I am at the sportsmanship displayed by most of these rikishi.
The winner almost always offers a hand up to the loser or, when possible, grabs hold to try and keep the losing man from falling unnecessarily when the outcome is a done deal. And most will stop along the hana-michi after the match to shake a baby finger or high-five an old fan hanging over the rail and just generally behave well.

Rep Power: 100 | | | Day 12:
Wakanoho, a newcomer to the upper division, won with a really strange leaping move from the tachiai. Not only is it a bad strategy generally speaking, but it is essentially a vertical 'henka' and you know how much I hate those.
His opponent, the Georgian Kokai, was none too happy about it. It was a BS move and Kokai has a habit of getting P-ed off at times.

LOL, he's such a baby-face and he always looks so darn happy when he wins, high-fiving anyone he can find!
