Kaio picks up one more win via forfiet on the last day due to Chiyotaikai's withdrawl due to injury.

Will he retire anyway? Will he fight in January? We'll see!

Ama wins on the last day to finish up 10-5 and make a good case for his promotion to Ozeki.

Ama is the winner of the Outstanding Performance Prize.

In what didn't really matter to the outcome of the tournament, Hakuho met Ozeki Kotomitsuki. In an exciting upset, Kotomitsuki threw the Yokozuna to the clay. The zabuton were flying in the Fukuoka arena again!

Regardless, Hakuho had already secured the win and received the Emperor's Cup.

Things will be different in January!

Well, that's it for the November basho folks.

I hope at least a few people enjoyed keeping up with the action.
