Rep Power: 150 | | While on the one hand I can categorically state that trying to out wannabe weenies is a fool's errand (they're slippery and wiggle out of logic traps), I can give you something of a fact.
The southern Shaolin Temple has not yet been proven to have ever existed.
No matter what anyone says, there is no physical evidence, no written record, not even reliable hearsay. There's a whole lot of "mights" and "maybes" but nothing concrete.
The current "rebuilding of the southern Shaolin Temple" is an effort by the PRC to bring tourists to another section of China. Appears to be working, too.
Anyway, of course everyone know ninjutsu came from Shaolin. Everything came from Shaolin. If you believe the Hong Kong movies.

Actually I think the double post is quite fitting. That's pretty much what I asked after going to that website.
But I can delete the extra post if you really want me to.

Rep Power: 150 | | | I just wonder what the monk he's clutching in the photo is thinking ...
"...I could feed everyone in this fake monastery for a month off this guy..."
