Rep Power: 160 | | | Herzog's Anapurna, Garcia Marquez's Living to tell the Tale (a long term project, been on the go for a year already), Woodie Guthrie's autobiography, a JD RoBB I started last night and will finish today (trash but fun), Chesterton's The Man who Was Thursday which I got half way through in a rush one evening last week but doesn't seem as gripping as it did when I was 14...
In the last few weeks it's been mostly re-reading - my favourate Murakami's (Norwegian Wood, South of the border, west of the sun) and Greene's (the quiet american, travels with my aunt).
I'd recommend all of these except the Guthrie and the Chesterton. The first is exhubrant but hard work, the second public schoolboy catholicism and fades after an excellant first chapter.
I'm always re reading The heart of Darkness and The Dharma Bums. When I rule the world they'll replace all holy books in all temples.
Maybe I should train more and read less

Reading trains the mind. Which trains the actions taken.
Actions taken, or actions used hmmmmm.....
Do we take time, or do we use time hmmmm....
I'm reading the book of enoch, the bastardized bible, and various things about odin/thor and the relations to the jews. Buncha stuff on the internet. Going to make a new thread for a good article...

hey that's the one I started with... I was in this book club sort of ... n started looking at his books... then some guy came up n started asking questions... so he gave me 4-5 books and I bought them all ...
he does confuse you... never comes straight to point.. whenever I didn't get him.. I threw away his books..curses him for being an ass.. n then later when I come back... I feel I m understanding.. funny eh..
