I am certainly blowing my own trumpet here because i want people to listen and give their opinions. I deserve SO MANY reputation points for this masterpiece :P.

Rep Power: 46 | | | Honestly ? get rid of the drum beat or change up the beat, pick up the rythm, when the guitar does. Know what I mean ? I thought the guitar was awesome.

Rep Power: 64 | | I haven't DL'd something slower than 5 KB / sec since last millenium. Pick up your server speed, huh? I'll give it a review when it completes, maybe next week.

I gottit...
first I heard drums only (listened on my pc @ work...)
I was glad to discover there was some guitarwork as well first impression:
you *can* shred ( the world needs more young shredders), but I would have thought your playing would be smoother...
it was raw up to a point that I thought you were sloppy...
might have to do with the sound a little too of course...
am I right here?
no offense tho...
I was the most sloppy bass shredder in the world and people loved it, so...
will listen to it some more later....

Rep Power: 35 | | | Dude the guitar was down tuned, (or i think it was... i dont remember) And yeah, my guitarwork was fairly sloppy in that. I skipped badly twice. But ignore that! Ignore it!!!
Chief, if you would like to put it on a better server for me, that would be appreciated.
Openmind, the drums have had the most complaints over anything else. But dont worry about it, it will be changed in the non-edit copy.
Seriously though, i had no idea the server was so crummy. However it may be because i advertised it all over the place..... sooo... meh.
Other then the many complaints, i hope you all liked it :P |

no complaint, just pointers to improve your playing and overall performance...
didn't get good by the compliments, it was the critisism from people with real skill that made me better
remember that I played with people like Jennifer Batten (the girl with the weird, wild headbangers haircut in M.Jackson's band...) and John Goodsall ( Brand X)
and 've had some incredible teachers and great students to jam with at MI.
they push you to your limits and beyond...
see it as MA training
work on your techniques and spar as much as you can with people that are better than you....
keep it up dude!!!
offer for hosting still stands...

Pretty good. Why no vocals.
Back in the early 70's I was in a few bands. I did vocals. We did only 1 instrumental. Seemed like the audiences got much more into the songs with vocals. Thats the only reason I ask. Anyway, good job.

Rep Power: 35 | | | I'm a terrible singer, hence the lack of vocals. But there WILL be vocals one day :P
And hey chief, ive played with a fairly good guitarist for a teacher. John Byrne.
he is a GRNCM which is cool in itself (guitarist of the royal national college of music)
But even better, he wrote the song "there she goes", which if you dont know by name, you will know by the sound of it. He is THE best accoustic guitarist i have ever met, and probably the best i have ever heard. I would have to hear him jam with POM one day. | |
