Rep Power: 48 | | | I'm so happy for you and baby Lillith.
Listen to everyone who says "...sleep when baby sleeps..."
I never did (because I'm obsessive cumpulsive about cleaning) and I started having hallucinations due to lack of REM sleep.
All the best,
Shawnna

Rep Power: 20 | | | For those of you have children born so close to christmas what do you do for birthdays?
And I'm getting plenty of sleep, but my laundry is now clean, just not put away. and the christmas presents are all in bag in my closet. Every chance I get to put things away I either decide to sleep instead or some one comes over. I'll get around to it eventually!
Speaking of company...My cousin just showed..oh, and its supper time!

Rep Power: 20 | | | And I was trying to up load them in the gallery, but it wont work so I'll have to wait until some one who knows more about that kind of thing stops by and can get them up so they can be seen.

My mom says she used to get us to stop crying by putting us in the car seat & driving around the block several times. Of course, that was back when gas cost less than a dollar a gallon.

Rep Power: 20 | | | That would be a good idea, but I still live with my Dad and I'd be waking him up to get her in and out of the house..plus she'll fall asleep in the car seat, but wake up when you try to take her out of it. So if I just stay in the car its fine..She's getting better through the nights, but she's sleeping in my bed with me. Its the only way I've found to get her to sleep at night. She'll sleep through the day in her crib or car seat but not over night. I dont know how long to let her do that, but I figure its fine now. I dont move at all in my sleep any more and I stay half awake to make sure she doesnt roll.

Rep Power: 48 | | | RE: Cristmas babies and birthdays.
My new mother in law was born Christmas day. She changed it to June 25.
My niece also born on the 25th has the immdiate family celebrate her birthday in the morning and then the entire family comes over later for Christmas dinner. She has a belated birthday party with her friends after the new year.
My classmate Wade had 2 different piles of gifts on Christmas/birth day, but never a birthday party. He says he did not miss anything.
