Rep Power: 35 | | | Best things in life There are a million and one things in life that make it worth living for everyone and anyone, be they beautiful and serene, or incredible and exhillarating.
What does everyone here think the best things in life are? Put a few things from each end of the spectrum if possible.
To start off, I like eating pizza while listening to relaxing music playing monopoly with a few friends.
I also love the feeling of being hit by a wave on a beautiful summers day at a majillion miles an hour.
Lets go people. Things that make life awesome! |

Rep Power: 62 | | | The older I get, the more awestruck I am by how we feel and perceive, and how strange the world and reality appear as it seems to change with age, the various monumental stepping stones that form and change who we are, how we think and feel, what we do and believe, the power that positive and negative emotion exhibit.
For me, perhaps the best part about life is simply *feeling* change, experiencing the passage of time and how it affects. Sorry if that sounds nebulous...Its just the way I feel about it.
Some more tangible ones:
Perhaps the most enthralling is when I get a new shipment of herbs in the mail.
Listening to Pink Floyd's Animals album in the company of those who appreciate it as much as I do (and those typse of individuals are far and few...)
A 16 ounce cut of top sirloin, medium rare and a sweet alcoholic beverage.
My sports cars--A labour of love that is as negative as it is positve sometimes.
Summer time, 100 degree heat on the beach. |

Rep Power: 127 | | | Once upon a time, when I was back home....
I enjoyed watching the sunrise from the ocean. Used to do that quite often. Damn I miss home....
Relaxing at a friends house, playing music, singing, cooking up some good food....... Hawaiian Style.
Just the simple things man, just the simple things. Damn I miss home.....

Rep Power: 35 | | | Where are ya at the moment Jaws? I can appreciate what you are saying fairly heavily, what with being from an island too, but i watched the sun SETTING from my side of the thing.
Beautiful, from the top of a castle, just watching it disappear on the edge of the sea....
And Plum, herbs in the mail eh? Sounds dodgy, but less so from who its coming from :P. And i can appreciate floyd. |

Rep Power: 153 | | | In no particular order:
Spending time with honeybunny.
Finding a really great restaurant, at home or traveling.
Having one of those "eureka" moments while practicing kung fu, when I hit a new point of understanding a technique.
Actually having money in my checking account on a Friday.
Beer.

lol, maybe I should have been more specific...I get these big boxes in the mail, 15-25 pounds at a time of Chinese herbs, none of which should be smoked... =)
Its always the msot exciting day of the month when they come in--I just love it, pulling them all out, checking to make sure they are all the right ones, smelling the pungency of the mroe aromatic ones...sooo much fun. |

In the desert. Surrounded by sand, and no ocean.
Yeah, watching the sunrise is breath taking. Always gave me a calm serene feeling. I've also watched a few sunsets, and they're also a beautiful thing to see.

Nevada... Las Vegas, or as some say... Sin City. My WTB is still in school, and will be in school for the next 4 yrs or so. Once she graduates, we'll decide on leaving or staying.
Eventually, I'l end up back home. Just don't see myself living in the "mainland" for that much longer.

Rep Power: 24 | | | Girls (don't complain about this one, 16 year old boys have to put this at the top of a list like this).
Getting a new one rep PR, landing a tricking move (lately that was rolling kip and running front flip), generally kung fu, and trampolines.
Whey shakes (they're great), Thai food, water (softdrinks suck. suck. SUCK, I TELL YOU), any croatian speciality my grandmother cooks.
Croatia, any country that has a coastline and temperatures regularly hit 100 degrees fahrenheit (in this, I'm more croatian than swiss), being able to workout/play soccer/play beachvolleyball topless (this is another croatian thing; you enter a croatian grocery store, more than half the male teens will be topless and barefoot), getting tanned.
There's a heck of a lot more, but this is a nice little list of the more important ones.

Ohhhhhh boy, you think that belongs at the top of the list now? Give it another 5-10 years, your hormone levels will be on the rise for many years to come. Only reason the rest of us didnt put that one on the list is because we *know* the opposite sex is really at the top of everyones list! |

Rep Power: 153 | | Nah, girls have absolutely no interest in the opposite sex.
None whatsoever.
Whey shakes ... bleauurrgh. But tell me more about this topless croatian volleyball thing!
