Rep Power: 13 | | | (Don't tell Cam, but...) (Mike,
Thanks, but not really the point. He's from the south, right? I used to live in Orlando and my friends were mostly from Georgia and Tennessee - if he's from below the Winn-Dixie line calling him a Yankie should be enough to get him going. Note the reason for the edit to my last post. (As for Ms Oxmall, I don't think that girls make sense much of the time. Just smile a lot and buy roses and chocolate on a regular basis.)

I was only joking, not pointing out an egregious mistake that must be corrected immediately followed by your ritual disembowelment.
FWIW, I was feigning indignation based on the fact that I AM from Georgia. I took your post jokingly and responded in kind.
Thanks,
Me
Edit:
I am still joking, btw. There is nothing on my schedule that says I have to be serious today.

Rep Power: 10 | | | The elusive and mysterious Cam is rumored to be from somewhere in the Southeastern US, though not from Georgia. While many theories have been circulated, word that he was lab created on the Tejon Ranch for the express purposes of beating on people, consuming Zima, and angering certain denizens of Dragon's List are without merit. He does, however, sleep all day so the jury on the whole vampire thing is still out.

Rep Power: 13 | | | Is Cam a Vampire? Hmm, the invention of total block sunscreen has enabled many vampires to live normal lives. This, added to the North American habit of driving from your garage to your friends/work garage, means that some inhabitants of the States never have to go outside in the fresh air (see, not off topic. We are discussing the USA habit of driving everywhere). I hadn't thought of that before . What is this Zima of which you speak?
T
Edit. Thus wikipedia on Zima:
Brandweek Magazine reported that at Zima's peak in 1994, 1.2 million barrels of the beverage were sold. Originally popular among young women, Coors made its first attempt at attracting young men to the brand in 1995 by marketing Zima Gold; the drink was unpopular and disappeared from store shelves within the year.

Ha! It's an alcoholic malt beverage that is known for bestowing unimaginable fighting powers. By "known" I mean "nobody knows this to be true."
Ok, off to the gym
Edit:
Ah, you found something about Zima. Turtles are pretty resourceful, apparently!

In a small southern town there was a "Nativity Scene" that showed great skill and talent had gone into creating it. One small feature bothered me. The three wise men were wearing firemen's helmets.
Totally unable to come up with a reason or explanation, I left. At a "Quick Stop" on the edge of town, I asked the lady behind the counter about the helmets.
She exploded into a rage, yelling at me, "YouYankees never do read the Bible!"
I assured her that I did, but simply couldn't recall anything about firemen in the Bible. She jerked her Bible from behind the counter and ruffled through some pages, and finally jabbed her finger at a passage. Sticking it in my face she said,
"See, it says right here, 'The wise men came from afar!'"
