Rep Power: 49 | | | Favorite line from a movie What is your favorite line from a movie?
My favorite line is from the movie Top Gun. The line I like is when Goose & Maverick are sitting in class and the female teacher is giving information about the Russian Mig 28 and she says that the Russian Mig can not do an inverted dive and Maverick (tom cruise) and Goose tell her that her information is inaccurate. Maverick explains to her that he was in an inverted dive with a Mig 28. After the class is over she goes up to him and says she would like to get a cup of coffee with him and discuss his experience with the Mig 28. (my favorite line).....You have top secret clearence, you can read about it.
I think I like that line because he is just ****y and has that attitude. It reminds me of myself sometimes. But this movie has so many good one liners in it. This has to be my favorite movie of all time.

Rep Power: 17 | | | Being former military, this quote from Bladerunner at the very end by Roy Batty really hit home with me.
This is exactly how I feel whenever I think on my experiences and have to convey them to people who have no frame of reference. I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams ... glitter in the dark near Tanhauser Gate. All those ... moments will be lost ... in time, like tears ... in rain. Time ... to die.

Rep Power: 49 | | | And why does it have to be the "gayest" movie ever? By the way, there is no such word as gayest. And you would know all about things that are gay wouldn't you?

hmmm favourite line... I'll try and get back to you on that one.

Rep Power: 49 | | | I think PopeWingnut should stop. He was the one with the smart *** comment about the gayest movie ever. Look back and you will see. He's just trying to be antagonistic. And as for Miss K, I was banned but only temporary. Aren't you glad to see me?

Rep Power: 62 | | | There are simply too many to choose from....just, soooo many, I cnat stand to onyl post one. But i will:
"Timothy Bryce and Evelyn are having an affair. Timothy is the only interesting person I know. I'm almost completely indifferent as to whether Evelyn knows...
I'm having an affair with Courtney Rawlinson, her closest friend. Courtney is almost perfect looking. She's usually operating on one or more psychiatric drugs.
Tonight, I believe, it's Xanax."
OK OK....maybe jsut one more for the time being:
"When I get to Paul Allen's place, I use the keys I took from his pocket...
before disposing of the body. There is a moment of sheer panic...
when I realize that Paul's apartment overlooks the park...and is obviously more expensive than mine. " | |
