My favorite talk show is coast to coast am. It used to be run by Art Bell, but he is retired and George Noori runs it now. It talks about all the stuff in the world no one else will. Some of it is crazy people (which is fun too), but a lot of it is people with sound scientific credentials who happen to believe something other than the mainstream. They cover everything from cryptozoology, aliens, to quantum physics, to political conspiracies. They will also cover issues of health like how big pharma is trying to limit alternative medicines and supplements and gulf war syndrome and the governents shabby treating of the veterans afflicted with it.
COAST TO COAST AM WITH GEORGE NOORY
Politically, I like Jerry Doyle. He is more independent than most and will call out stupidity on either or both parties. While I listen to all political viewpoints, he is the only one where I find myself agreeing with him a lot of the time.
Sorry, but the one guy I can't stomach is your guy- Michael Savage. I despise him actually. Name calling and screaming is not intelligent discussion IMO and he does a lot of that. I find it immature. Same thing with Mark Levin. I guess I am not a shock jock type of person and they seem like political shock jocks.
I liked Laura Ingraham even though I disagreed with her politically. She discussed things in a calm respectful manner compared to a lot of the others. She also has a sense of humor when a lot of the talk show people take themselves way too seriously. (No Savage is not humorous to me- just angry.) We don't get her show in San Diego anymore.
The Hannity/ Rush types just spew the talking points of the Republican party. I listen occasionally to hear what they are talking about though.
Never could find air america on the radio or I would have tuned in to them. Colmes had a show in San Diego I listened to- it was ok-but they canceled that.
