But they didnt. Its a name. Get over it and move on. No im not a big MMA fan I prefer Traditional. Though in another 50years what we call Modern MMA will probably be thought of as traditional its all relitive. UFC is a fad. I give the organization itself another 10 years then it will fall way. In its place a new MA fighting organization will apear. In the end MMA is just another Martial art. Those are not fads in of themselves just the organizations that give them a place to compete. This may make no sence its 530 am an and I have been working since 10 PM

I see. There are some who think that MMA is not actually a art on its own.

I also said I was at the end of a long shift and tired. So you want to hang on what I say make sure you read all of it. Let me clarify, the Martial Arts that are commonly used in MMA (i.e. BJJ, etc) are arts and they approach they use for self defense (some of which you see in the ring) is an Art.
