Rep Power: 100 | | | I'm all for learning that sort of stuff, but I have this suspicion that my arm and shoulder wouldn't make it through since my elbow once popped out and the sinew relocated to somewhere else. Now I have no power in certain directions and couldn't rotate the arm in certain positions. Wonder if that could be fixed without dislocating the arm under full narcosis and relocating stuff by hand, since I wouldn't like to get a stiff hand if they "somehow" fail.

What happened to your elbow? I had my left elbow dislocated during wrestling practice. My elbow was where your arm naturally bends. I popped it back into place my self and then passed out from the pain. Next thing I knmow I'm waking up at the hospital with the doctor putting a cast on my arm. it wasn't fun.

Yes but it hurts...
I had a chronic shoulder problem from a bicycle vs auto incident(i was on the bike and i lost) for 10 yrs, and just recently was able through a couple different modalities to get everything lined up correctly.
Dit da, chiro, acupuncture, chi kung and massage all played their own roles.
The final piece (reflexive neuromuscular balancing) was such a relief when everything finally popped back in properly and the muscles reset their tonus.
I actually heard a muscle(supraspinatus) slurp into place like a wet noodle.
I thought i might have to live with the bad shoulder forever, but i never gave up.
It has only been a couple of weeks but i have been putting my shoulder through some pretty good work and can't remember it ever feeling this smooth and stable. Hope you can do something similar.
ps. i saw two orthopedists initially who both wanted to cut off part of my clavicle... morons.

That's what we call it, also. | “ | but I have this suspicion that my arm and shoulder wouldn't make it through | ” | |
If the technique is performed correctly it really doesn't put a lot of strain on the arm/shoulder/elbow like it appears to. f course if done incorrectly, yes, you could break your own arm.

Can you invent a move that plays off of it called "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy"? Cause that would be a catchy name.

Yeah, with my elbow the doctors told me that I would lack about 30 degrees from straightening my arm because I had probably injured or damaged the muscles and tendons that go around or through the elbow area. Thankfully i only lack about 3% and thats from good physical therapy. I thought for sure my martial arts part of my life was over but everything turned out ok. Hope your elbow is doing ok.

Rep Power: 100 | | | Bobblehead, maybe you can open up a new thread explaining what exactly was done. Although, it might be difficult to find the experts in question in Germany, but people who need could try.

Ok, i'll start it today, then at clinic today i'll see if i can find the Reflex sequence for the elbow(and i'll explain it in the new thread too).
What exactly happened to your elbow, how long ago and what types of movement hurt or are weak? Also what have you done so far for therapy?
