There was definitely a large discrepancy in skill levels there...
"Rash guard", as you called him, did everything text book perfectly once it hit theground. His pass of the butterfly hook was perfect as well as his setup of the inverted triangle and the hammerlock (kimura). Bottom guy should have gotten to his knees immediately and locked up the leg for a single leg takedown. Sadly, Rash guard would have probably finished the inverted triangle from there.
Any experienced grappler expects that leg to come over and should recognize that setup immediately.
Rash guard should have demonstrated better control and applied pressure more slowly. It makes me wonder if that wasn't a grudge match and Rash guard had a personal issue with the guy and was trying to make a point...
By the way, that's what Jacob's (Urbanus) opponent's arm looked like after Jacob's first MMA fight.
