Here's a concept! Maybe these women don't live their lives deciding what they want to do based on whether it is considered "sexy" or not.

Gheesh, you just don't get these kind of comments on threads where men get teeth knocked out.

Did anyone say "Wow Rich Franklin got his nose reaaranged-now he isn't as sexy?" or "Forrest Griffin's broken arm that healed crooked is sooooo unnatractive?"

My friends and I do talk like that, but more like "Wow, Rich Franklin ain't pretty no more". I do agree with what you are saying.

My definition of sexy is not only looks, and I am a man, so of course I will look at a woman differently from a man. That doesn't mean it is ever with less respect.

To me that broken jaw represents a fighter that was unprepared for the ring, which i do not find sexy. I don't think broken bones, especially face bones are particularly sexy either. If Doughie finds that sexy he is entitled to that opinion. He brought it up and i was just responding.
Oh, and the "I was in control..." comment, decidedly not sexy.

Should a woman run her life according to what other people think? Up to her i guess.

No, what I find sexy, is her drive to do whatever she wants to in life and f*** what anyone thinks. A broken jaw just sucks.

ok fighting might be in her blood, and it's such a passion for her she would have even wanted to bring that other woman down with a broken jaw and all if it was just a match to test skills and superiority and not a broadcasted MMA event with some money involved. in that case who wanted to stop her? it's not just about the gender for me, i get mixed feelings watching boxing or other "bash your skulls for the $$$" shows, but of course sometimes you can't look away... When the fighters sometimes in my perception understand what danger put themselves in to please the crowd and not go all out anymore even if they maybe can only win by knockout, i feel relieved (even though that's probably complete nonsense fighters never do that?). Or when the crowd doesn't cheer as hard so as not to bring even more wildness into the ring...but women, who want to do anything better than men, they will probably just kill each other i mean look at these pictures
