Jay Hieron the Champ

I watched Jay defeat the former champ to win the welterweight championship Saturday night. It looked like it had been pre recorded so I really don't know how old the fight was. I watched it on FSN (Fun Sport Network). It was a great fight. Does anyone know much about Hieron? He looks preety good to me. What's your oppinion of him, I don't know much about him.
