You are in front of a computer and hopefully have a phone book nearby, you know your area and needs/goals.
Do some work if you want something of value...

Church emails are nice but you can also try walking around your nieghborhood and offer services such as mowing peoples lawns, set up a hose and a couple buckets of soap and run a car wash. Figure out whats more important to you; Your rock band, or training , FOR REAL, in a martial art. If money is a problem make a choice then do it.
I have looked in the yellow pages on the internet, but no Kung-Fu schools. Thanks for your help. And Green_Horn I live out of town, in a 100kph speed limit so I can't really mow lawns. I know it sounds like I'm making excuses, but if I can I'm pretty sure I would do it. I'm hoping to pick up a job, and then attend something, if I find it.

Sounds like every other kid who wants to do something in theory, but doesn't actually want to do anything or really tries to do anything to amend that.
There have been plenty of times in life where people had some immense obstacle to get around to gain what they wanted and if they can achieve it, I would think you could as well.
Can't find a school on the Internet/Yellow Pages? Try walking around to different places and asking if anyone knows of a school, look at different websites/phone books or advertisements and see if you can find one there, if you can't your best bet is to quit bothering with Kung Fu until you can actually train, the more pretend you play with your pretend taught mate is only doing you harm that some skilled teacher will have to fix and be thankful he got a noob of such standing in his/her class.
I'd be surprised if you couldn't find a job, even with the speed zones, there's always work of some nature to be had for anyone who actually tries to get a job. I've seen kids working in war zones to make money, you don't have that excuse do you? Get some motivation and get off your ass.
Wasn't there a thread here awhile back about what sacrifices people had to make, what they had to give up, to do MA?
(I can't think of enough of the specific terms used to find it on the search engine. I tried.)

Sorry mate, you are making excuses, where do you live that people drive 100kph all over people's lawns all the time?
Kyokushin Karate is not a bad style to get started with . . . even if you decide to learn a Kung Fu style later, most of the stuff you do (high intensity training and fighting) will be able to translate quite easily.
Fighting is fighting is fighting.
Pretty basic.
