Modern Day Ninja's for real???

Hayes is a ****ing joke, that's the consensus of all in the Ninja Traditions as he didn't train as long as the rest or as hard and created his own BS that is 10x as LARPish

But it looks good, and that's all that a lot of people care about these days.

He tried to adapt the Ninja to modern day, and failed.

I doubt it... You've got a good bit of knowledge, you know a bit of history.
Academically you'd be fine, I don't know your physical skills, so I couldn't say anything about that part.

I was always interested in ninjutsu. I've heard that the bujinkan Dojo here in Lexington is not very good though. Although I should check it out for myself to make that decision.

The guy that started the Genbukan was Hatsumi's main partner/student in the bujinkan before they got into a dispute about something and started the Genbukan Dojo. Both are basically the same thing. Both claiming that they were students of Takamatsu (33rd generation grandmaster).

Because they don't train for today's environment, they don't spar or allow testing of their techniques, they train specifically for using fighting skills against people wearing armor and nothing but, they don't train in physical fitness or cardio in their normal training.
All around, it's incredibly poor training, poor management and crappy techniques and philosophies spawned on fools to suck their money into a whacko cult of Ninjer BS.




Off Topic: My wife keeps in touch with all her ex-Ninjer relations, there is a story currently being told about a student who left the Bujinakan in the North of England because at seminars, they were teaching people how to mix poisons and encouraging them to test them out on cats and dogs, this guy reported them to the police, but with stuff like that being part of the norm for Ninjers, I'd avoid their fake, pathetic and crappy BS like the plague.

Haha, animal testing with poisons... or poison testing with animals, either way... that's crazy stuff. Even for Ninjers.
