Hi Le nOObi

"What are some styles that contain lots of chin-na"
* Many styles contain Chin Na, ill attempt to list some of the ones i know who use it a lot.

Bagua
Hung Ga
Tai Chi
Northern Mantis
all Hakka arts have some
All internals
Choy Lay Fut
Jow Ga
Most Shoalin arts actualy, particualy those with a tiger or crane influence.

I could actualy be here all day but these systems are better known. Of course eagle as you mentioned is a major player.

Best stuff i have seen is in Tai Chi and the internals.
Plus some of the Mongolian stuff looks pretty solid, i would not want my head pounded by those guys.

Just about every kung fu style has Chin na, but some specialise more than others in it. Its not as easy as some think to grab someones punch or just their hand & apply or even hold on. U have to strengthen ur fingers, hands & forearms & it takes a lot of practice to pull it off in a fight. Iv'e seen some from Choy Lee Fut & Hung ga, it's very vicious, mainly used with tiger. My CLF sifu showed me a aplication &just by grabbing me with his tiger claw i felt this pain travel all the way up my arm.

Dr.Yang Jwing Ming´s "Analysis of shaolin chin-na" is a nearly perfect book.
It is not the only book though.

yeah...

I have that book and actually i live in the area of yang jwing ming however i go to a different place that teaches almost identical things! I think all shaolin contains a lil chin-na chin-na just means catch and hold so any system that contains non is basically incomplete!
