I think your talking about Shuai Chiao, chinese wrestling It has been around for thousands of years and is well used and performed at kung fu tournaments.
Here are some links to sites on the subject:
Shuai Chiao Club at Ohio State U. (good information on subject)
http://www.mg-3d.com/index.html
Official Combat Shuai Chiao Page
http://www.combatshuaichiao.com/
World Shuai Chiao Society
http://www.shuaichiao.org/main_index.htm
These should be more than enough. There are a couple books out on the subject with great pictures, lessons, history, technique, and application.
Chinese Fast Wrestling for Fighting
By Liang, Shou-Yu and Tai D. Ngo
Fundamentals of Shuai Chiao
By Chi-hsiu Daniel Weng
Both books offer much for any student and can add to anyones arsinal if your haven't seen the art done before!
One point thought, there is much dissentions, mistrust and fueding among practitioners as to who is the head of which organization and has "proper lineage." I would ignore this as I have trained in many Shuai Chiao Camps and most everyone that runs them are skilled and have much to offer. The infighting that occurs should be overlooked and simply try to learn the technqiue and avoid any worries about who is the best teacher. If you need more details e-mail me and I'll explain further if needed.
