Rep Power: 9 | | History Let us not forget that the Chinese invented the "T-shirt". The T-shirt was sneakily stolen by Westerners and most westerners don't give much thought to a wearing a Chinese clothing style every day, even while it was worn in China since the 1700s.
Just a thought to consider when we're talking about uniforms - most of us at a certain age are walking around in part of a Kung fu uniform every day.

Rep Power: 8 | | | We wear a traditional chinese top, with matching pants. Most of our uniforms are black with white trim, but one of my kung fu sisters bought a red one. When people ask why she's wearing red, we just tell them that it WAS white... but it's been stained with the blood of her enemies.
We used to mostly just wear club shirts with MA pants.... but one christmas six of us got uniforms from santa..the rest just followed suit.

Rep Power: 87 | | Couple of images from a seminar at our school a few years ago. That's the plumblossom logo on the front, our schools name and logo on the back. The red uniforms are the instructors. The Sifu's wear a black with white trim uniform.
(These are from the plumblossom.net web site)

Rep Power: 81 | | | Yeah Traditional Black Kungfu Pants and School T for most students. Saam Tops are only required for testing or special events.
We get most of our stuff from Tiger claw though we may switch over to Bold Look soon. I get my favorite Pants from Kwon though they are expensive, they Last and dont fade. other wise we get nicer uniforms from Jonie again I am not sure if Bold look makes a nicer one. Jonie might loose some business to them.
Competition is good.

Rep Power: 3 | | | We have black t shirt with logo and loose trousers with stripes around the bottom. Trainers on feet. T shirts are worn all the time. Stripy trousers kept for special occasions. If we are doing grappling we use any old gi. Second hand from charity shops is fine.
But here's a question for you.
HOW MUCH DO YOU PAY FOR YOUR UNIFORM ?
With us t shirts and trousers are provided at cost, although because it’s a small club with low volumes printing the t shirts and getting the stripes put on the trousers is not cheap. $ 25 for the Shirts and $ 45 for the trousers. |

Standard price T-shirt $20.00
bold look brand pants $25.00
(unless they have gone up recently)
But most of the regulars know to buy them at the Christmas time sale where they are
T-shirt $14.00 or 15.00
Pants $20.00
