Rep Power: 19 | | | That was a better post of information than I could have ever done. That explains everything perfectly.
X893 and Aqira, both of you had good ideas, and we have published many different articles within the pages of Inside Kung Fu, so what I'll do is find some of them and post them up in the article section soon.
Appreciate the help you all are offering to help us communicate better here on the Dragonslist. |

Rep Power: 8 | | | I am not sure how or why this post became an "Ng Family" post or why it got all the way back to Dr. Ng. In my opinion, that's just plain silly.
GM Pickens,
I am not sure if I have ever met you, but I met Dr. Ng acouple of times back in the early 80's please send him my regards and apologies. Again, I was just seeing who knew who, that's it that's all.
I think from now on I will pop in here and there just to "read" postings.
Take care. |

Master Tsai, I personally posted because Dr. Ng and I felt that since our family style was implicated, I.E. (Rusty is still under John Ng), we needed some clarification.
First, if your father's name, my teachers name (or anyone elses for that matter) is mentioned, then it is not a silly matter especially if it involves a wrong doing. We simply did not want anyone whose names were placed on the list to be under the impression that John Ng was behind this organization and/or supported it. Rusty also awarded my teacher a position on the board the he (Dr. Ng) declined. As I have stated, my teacher/father is not about cheating people. It is my opinion that Rusty and his associates should have asked first before publishing such things regarding other people's name and their schools.
Master Tsai, I do not think we have met, but your father is my martial arts uncle (He and my teacher go way back), so I will stand beside you and your school if you ever need me for anything. Also, Please continue to post, as will I, and share the knowledge you pocess, otherwise the students and one's seeking that knowledge will lose out.
As always it is not pureness of the art, but pureness of the heart.
Thank you |

Rep Power: 19 | | | Not for sure about his site being down or not. Last I checked it was still there, but thats been a month or so back. I know he's still teaching in Chicago, not for sure on what days now, but you can find a business listing with phone # and address on the net.
Thanks,
-Ngfamilydude

Rep Power: 18 | | | I myself have some ties to the Ng family, more of an off shoot, but from all that I read on this thread, is exactly what my Sifu instilled and showed us. I know my Sifu praised Dr. Ng and gave him all the credit for all he knew and if what we learned is the same, then I have full respect for the Ng family. I never have met Ng or many others from the family but I know they conduct themselves with honor and humility, but they are not affriad to stick up for what they are, when their name is being dragged though the mud.
I myself have also trained w/ Rusty Gray and he is a very knowledgable man, to hear that he would do this is very surprising and disturbing. I hope that there is just some kind of misunderstanding in this matter, but even having trained w/Gray I would side w/ the Ng family for on the whole they are part of my family, distant but still family.
So, I may not be as knowaledgable as most of you or the Ng family, but you can consider all of my post coming from an Ng cousin.

Cool, I didn't know there were any connections between us. I know of a few schools in MA, whose Instructors trained under GM Ng...so am I to guess you are from one of those? Not for sure if I know you or not, I know a lot of the ppl up there and have talked with them from time to time - even met some of them at tournaments....anyways glad to hear from you, it's nice that we are linked one way or another.
Now back onto something I ment to mention in my last post. From what all I've heard and the rep. that surrounds Master Tsai's school, it would be well worth the effort to visit it and talk with the guy, seems like he has some nice stuff to offer. I metioned to him a while back that I would try to make it up to visit his school when I come to Chicago to visit family, so I'll have to try and drop by next month.
Thanks,
-Ngfamilydude
