Right, it's that one, more or less. It's when two people stand there stationary in the position of a Chen exercise where you stand side to side in a low horse and practice pulling into a hold/break, and defend it, onesided. Only without any kind of such technical manouvre whatsover, they stand there (not in low horse), one arm around the other, and the other hand pulls around. The stronger wins. Oh, from time to time they switch side, or try the run over the other guy pushing with both arms stretched out.

Yeah, that's what the Shuai Jiao competition was!

Thats what the kids in our judo class do, kind of. We call it 'can-can' dancing. To get this technique to work, the thrower must complete a 270 degree rotation and position their leg perpendicular to the person being thrown.

There is an awful lot of techniques I can publish a 'how-to' that most of the people on here could learn and implement into what they do

I think judo is very well covered in the publishing world already.

But I encourage you to take regular notes in your classes, analyze the results of your competitions, study your teaching methods when you start coaching. Compare to established literature on your sport. Then write & publish the Greatest Judo Book Ever. Or just keep the notes in a binder and refer to them throughout your career to keep your techniques fresh.
