Rep Power: 18 | | No Shadow Hands Mo Ying Sao Been awhile since I posted but I am researching more about the no shadow techniques and thought people could tell me a bit about what they have learned about them. Hands without Shadow, no shadow kicks, ghost hands, third hand hitting, etc.
Please describe the movement and why it is effective enough to be named such a lofty thing as well as the style of origin.I am hoping to use the information in a book I am preparing to write.... I know that different styles have different versions of each of these techniques so I think it should be interesting to see those differences and similarities. Thanks and have fun!
I will post a couple techs later once things have gotten started.

The idea of the third hand or ghost hand are a result of the opponent percieveing that they know where you are and what is going on but being hit anyway and not where they woud have expected to.

Aye, that's correct.
Our shadow kicks usually involve a crane type rake across the eyes, the movement of the hands cause the kick to be hidden/shadowed.
We have the same with blocks/strikes, a deflective block which draws attention from the strike following it to an now open point.
etc etc etc

Rep Power: 26 | | | the version of shadowless kick that i know depends highly on balances and kick speed, its nothing fancy just a kick followed by a kick for example one to the groin then to the head, very fast but with a chamber
