I believe that Wu Song is one of the heros from the famous "heros in the marsh" story, kind of like the Robin Hoods of China. Wing Lam sells a book about this form. From what I understand, you pretend your hands are shackled and do all these kicking techniques.

Couldn't find the book on there site, but looked in there old catalog and there it was, "Wu Song Breaks Manacles" by Cai Longyun (Chinese Kung Fu series #9)
