Rep Power: 35 | | | I'm yanking nothing. I'm out & about. People know me & I know people. Some even like me. Most will say I'm pretty ok at what I do, even if they don't particularly like me, there's at least a modicum of respect & decency.
You on the other hand...

Rep Power: 4 | | | Well, looking at the discussion, is it accurate to label Chinese martial arts as Kung Fu, given the generic translation and application |

Well, as I had stated, we have to understand what was the purpose of it being built and what those did inside.
Therefore, this purpose is "Authentic/Original Shaolin Kung Fu" |

Rep Power: 41 | | | And that has already been explained. The Shaolin Are MONKS! Not every shaolin practiced MA. The MA where a byproduct. John said it if you want to learn what Damo taught learn Yoga, or Lohan (either kung Fu or Chi gong) other than that most the MA's aspects where brought into the temples and combied with the Lohan or Fut Gar (Budda Fist). MA+Exercise=Shaolin Kung Fu. The temples first and foremost goal was spiritual and mental growth. Its just the Shaolin where smart enough to realize that if the body is weak and frail the mind and spirit are less focused and esily distracted. |

Oh yeah?!?!!?!
Well......
In a tree by the brook, there's a songbird who sings... almost all of our thoughts are misgiven.
If there's a bustle in your hedgerow, don't be alarmed now... It's just a spring clean for the May Queen.
Top that.
