I mean a Katana is a Katana, one person could pick it up and swing it and cut their own ankle off when a master could throw 3 lemons in the air and cut all 3 in half before they hit the ground.
The sword is only as effective as he who wields it. | ”
The problem is calling one of those lemons a deadly weapon when it is not. That is what everyone is trying to say. Is the style effective? Maybe...maybe not. If that instructor is supposed to be its champion, then my money is on that the style is...a lemon.

Who ever said anything about a lemon being a deadly weapon. You may want to read what I wrote again. |

I guess my analogy was not clear, so I will put it bluntly.
The old joker using his BS "remote" skills is teaching/selling a lemon and calling it a katana. Its not deadly, and its not even realistic. Its not just a lack of individual skill, its a lack of a realistic "martial art". Although I wouldn't even call it that, I would just call it Fantasy Camp.

I got it. It was clear to me. "Lemon" as in the lemon law for cars.

Rep Power: 163 | | | That dude's style is not efficient, does not work and is actually a slap in the face to real martial artists and fighters.
And contrary to popular belief style does not = the individual and the individual does not = the style. Style + individual = the fighter. It is both. Individuals can and often are limited by styles. All styles are not created equal. Some are better than others. I know that isn't politically correct, but it's the truth.
This style above does not even qualify as a style, at least not of a martial art.

Picked the losers side? Either you have a learning disability or are a complete, uneducated idiot to come up with that for a responce to this entire thread.
You should probably go post on the cooking forum, lame brain. |

Rep Power: 36 | | | i meant the loser in the general perception as demonstrated in the posts of this thread. i was about to post something sarcastic but it came off a little bit too much like some posts that were meant seriously. the question about the health of the challenger was not meant in a sarcastic way.
edit: i also didn't mean to knock you with that comment, i found your view on the video the nicest, not joining into the "funny vid" or "haha the geezer got his a$$ handed to him, typical LARPer" chorus

Figures THAT would be your reply after chiming in on something you have no business getting involved with.
Go hang out with your girlfriends in the MMA locker room and gossip about the other guys bulges, ya lily pad. |

Rep Power: 36 | | | yeah i'm sorry too.. it's not so easy to be clearly understood in the real world and with just a few words on the screen, it's even worse.
i guess what this thread teaches us is that for 5000 bucks, there will always be someone who will kick an old man repeatedly in the face?

Just to point out, this is a public forum and a public thread, anyone can post or get involved, I know you are seriously lacking in education and intelligence (as blatantly evident by your numerous posts) but if you wanted to be the only one involved with it, should have kept it to PM like the adults do.
