Yeah... you do. I've watched you since you came on this forum & others that I'm a member of. You spout... you pontificate... you have a mix of arrogance & ignorance in almost everything you say. Talk about lambasting, has anybody seen you rail against SD?
I'm a tad arrogant to be sure, but I also have a habit of not speaking when I don't know. I tend to listen, look & learn, as opposed to seeing if my yoga classes pay off by allowing me to get my whole leg in my mouth.
The smart money is on sitting & listening. You didn't & so I pointed it out. Maybe it was a little more acerbic than I normally would, but you caught me at a bad time. Get past it, wipe your nose & move along. I have.
BTW... I didn't apologize on that other post. I don't know where that emoticon came from, but that's not what I picked.

That's cool... he didn't listen to what was said above & by whom. Several CLF people responded to a question put out by a CLF player. Kinda obvious when she was talking about GM Wong.
I dunno... maybe that was a stretch for him to read all of the replies from people with CLF in their name or background. | “ | Originally

Nah I didn't flip prematurely. Honestly I didn't. I just don't tolerate the fool very well. It'd be one thing if he'd asked or even prefaced with "Hey I don't know anything about CLF, but in my experience.. .". That's a whole different ball of wax that could've led to a productive conversation. Instead he does his normal, injecting himself with useless info into something he knows nothing about. I equate that about as equally beneficial to his whole "Who's your favorite pornstar..." thread.
You brought up Push hands. Good, solid level advice & info. My suggestion for aaradia on the push hands is to also take it. My sifu did push hands with GM Wong the last time he was there & said he's off the chart. Also hit the Elephant too. Solid fighting in it & not what people expect in CLF.

There are better ways of getting your point across than flipping out. You could have just said, "Hey, the form is more advanced for different reasons. Although its called 5-Dragon Cudgel form, it doesn't follow the classic Shaolin Dragon concept. Its more of just a fun name for smashing stuff with hammers". But your aggressive response put JD on the defensive and you two (with my help) have derailed the thread from its original purpose.
The internetz r srs bsns, I know. But try and relax and just have fun with the forums. When you get in angry back-and-forth arguments the only people who win are the casual observers looking for some entertainment.

You know what you caught me at a bad time too. So why don't you just shut your pie hole.

Thanks Wraith for being impartial.
As you can see from my first post I was trying to be insightful despite that fact that I was wrong about 5 Dragon Cudgel being from dragon style kung fu. But still yet, a person could gain some knowledge about drogan style kung fu from my post if one did not know anything about that particular style. So it wasn't a total waste of a post.

Rep Power: 8 | | | I would go with the push hands. Why? Well yes, GM Wong teaches it at other seminars and will probably teach it many many times again, BUT. Push hands has some very applicable fight skills attached to it. Learning with the GM and re-learning it at a later time from the same guy is very helpful.
DFW is _infamous_ for his push hands skills. He brought the first US team to the push hands tournaments in china. And they WON. What does that mean? That he both has the skill and he knows how to transmit it. Getting applicable skills for use in fighting is the ultimate goal for many of us. |

Rep Power: 49 | | This is to Unk and Sammygirl........you two both gave me an infraction for disrespectful posts. I would like to know if clfsean recieved a infraction as well. You can not tell me that these post that I have quoted are not disrespectful. I have quoted someone else who is an impartial observer stating that it was a little uncalled for. | “ | Originally
