CLF Heavy Sparring . . .

So to contrast my "Light" sparring video, here are some heavy/full contact bouts featuring CLF guys, from Buk Sing and Hung Sing.

Video #1

I'm not sure what system the black guy does, I thought I heard him say "Northern" and then something about "Muay Thai" and then "I don't wanna hurt anybody." Fight starts around 1:10 minute.

Video #2

This one has a Hung Sing vs. Buk Sing fight and I think some other fights . . .

Peace

The Guy in Black worked dudes legs man...he could barely move after awhile.

Also I love how the General busts out the blues numbers.... The Laceys are something else man... I mean that in a good way!

The black dude landed a couple of good shots, and both had ok power and movement, but the black guy either had next to no condition, or he really got injured in the bout as he stopped doing anything after the break. From the sound, the wore pads under the trousers.

What I wonder is why they stick to this "fight on a straight line and NEVER do any circling (death penalty) !!!" thing. One side step and left hook into the flailing and you could land homerun punches, like the black guy in the first clip landed in the beginning.

Nik, I think Buk Sing guys have more of a tendency to blast straight through.

I think the other branches train (more or less are just used to this more) in the Sup Jee (cross-stepping) pattern, which uses a lot more lateral footwork.

A lot of Buk Sing guys start out doing their basic forms which only work straight line movement and throwing a crapload of chaap choys . . .
