Luo De Xiu Baguazhang 2007 - Philadelphia Area

Master Luo De Xiu 2007 Seminars in the Philadelphia, PA area

August 4 -Gao Style Baguazhang:

Emphasis on Houtian Baguazhang (straight-line forms). Focus on usage, including set-up, angle, fajing points and applications.

Curriculum includes Xiantian Baguazhang (circular form) & Houtian Baguazhang (straight-line forms) training.

All training includes forms, body training and fighting applications.

August 5 –Hebei Xingyiquan:

Curriculum includes 5 elements, 3 of the 12 animals and/or An Shen Pao.

All training includes forms, body training and fighting applications.

Cost: $225/weekend or $125 for one day, paid in advance.

This is a tentative curriculum and may change depending on the interests of the participants.

Luo De Xiu has been practicing and teaching the internal martial arts of Gao Style Baguazhang and Hebei Xingyiquan for over 30 years. Master Luo received his fundamental training from Zhang Zhunfeng's student Hong YiXiang. Zhang Zhunfeng studied directly from the originator of Gao Style Baguazhang, Gao Yisheng. Master Luo went on to study with many of Zhang's other students, including Hong Yiwen and Hong Yimien. Luo also studied with Sun Xikun's student, Liu Qian.

Master Luo's years of research into the theory and teaching of the internal arts, as well as his experience in many full-contact competitions gives him the ability to explain internal theory, proper body mechanics and fighting theory in a way that is clear and easy to understand.

We would like to thank Michael Rosario Graycar and Phoenix Chen Taijiquan Gong Fu Center for hosting Master Luo’s week-day evening seminars for the second year in a row. Michael is a highly skilled internal artist in his own right and it is always a pleasure for Master Luo to visit his school.

Topics
Thursday Night: Single Palm Change- Form and Theory. Houtian (linear) forms and applications, as they relate to Single Change, will also be discussed.

Monday Night: The focus will be on the application side of training using the material that Master Luo covers on Thursday night, as well as the weekend seminar.

Dates are Thurs. August 2 & Mon. August 6
Time: Doors Open at 6:30 | Seminar: 7pm – 10pm

Cost: $60 per night / $110 for both
Paid cash at door

$25 discount for those attending all of the events.
