Rep Power: 69 | | | I would be interested in seeing what "Western scientific" data any of you have on the same subject. I always keep my eye open, and it seems that Western Medicine suggests that people who have regular but moderate sex are the healthiest and live the longest. I would love for people to place links done on any studies on this subject. For example, what about studies of celibate monk/nun types Is there hard data showing these people live longer that can attribute it in part to celibacy Just curious, I know there has been a lot of research out there, and I was thinking we should all do a little research and bring some interesting tidbits back to this table before we get too much into speculation and anecdotal evidence. |

Rep Power: 78 | | | I agree. I don't want you guys to think I am saying "no sex" like the title says. Just that while you are first starting out to cultivat/build up your qi resevoir, it's best to abstain for a while.
My teacher said, when you are trying to save money to live off of the interest, it is not a good idea to withdraw too much or more than you are putting in. But once you reach a certain amount, depending on your withdrawal/usage, you will not be depleting it too much provided you cont. to replenish it.
That's all I go to say.

Rep Power: 69 | | | Yeh, I had read that as well, in a normal ejaculation, you lose 15mg of Zinc, and your dailly RDA of Zinc is 5 mg. But, since most people don't eat things like spinach, they aren't getting much Zinc, there are also studies that show that zinc and magnesium have big affects for weight lifters. |

Rep Power: 69 | | | Uh, Baichi, last time I checked, cheeseburger and fries was much preferred over spinach. Last time I checked with any person I know, none of them named spinach as even a weekly consumed food. |

Rep Power: 78 | | | I eat spinach pretty often. Don't like the way people in this country eat it.
I put it in a concentrated chicken broth (from real chicken) and then add some tofu and couple slices on ginger. Shred the chichen and put it back in the broth. Can substitute with pork and beef.
Very good. The clear broth is great.
The vinegar spinach taste like s---. No wonder people hate it.
