Usually the next day there's the extra spring the step that someone feels compelled to comment on. Generally to my experience, when the sex is really good, at least one, if not both of you are out of it; but it is'nt always the woman.

Do a "say ping ma" the day before sex and the morning after (or right after) and share with us how long you lasted each time before legs shake like a leave in the wind.

her mind was stimulated more than her body. Unecessary muscular tension during sex. More violent sex can do that to both parties. There are "safe" sex where there is an exchange of that energy instead of one giving to the other. Actually a woman can have a greater/deeper orgasm if she is very relaxed. You could be drained 10 or more times before the get tired. Then compare who is more incoherent or more drained.
There have been instances where marathon runners manually relieve themselves before running to release the EXCESSIVE tension built up. That has a more relaxing effect than draining effect.

Well, IMO, abstaining from sex, besides saving bodily fluids/energy, probably has a lot to do with achieving & maintaning high concentration for best results in internal MA practice. Emotions, relationships & sex go hand in hand, and in the TCM, emotions' & sexual behaviour impact on one's health has been studied & well documented for a long time. And to be a martial artist, it's necessary to be healthy to begin with. As someone already stated, sex requires a lot of energy; as the russian saying goes, "chase 2 rabbits, you'll catch neither!"
