yeah, i lived in denmark for a little while where health care is a right as opposed to a luxury like here, but once you learn some qigong, it is free to practice. i would not expect insane people to question their own sanity, but not an area im really experienced in.

tyro is on a distinguished road
Can someone shed some more light on this subject for me. I have recently started Yang Tai Chi with a teacher but have also been (for the last 3 days) teaching myself Five Basic Standing meditations (Chi Kung) using video, literature and web aids. My 3 days of experimenting with these exersises left me with a bit of a rush and I had alot of trouble sleeping the 3rd night but thought nothing of it, as in sometimes after a workout the body is moving and awake anyway. These are the 5 meditations I have started with. I'm not sure if these meditations are related to those talked about on this thread, I am new to the concepts.
-Monk Holding Pearl
-Monk Gazing At Moon
-Wind Above The Clouds
-Monk Holding Peach
-Bending Bows

Before I go any further with self teaching I would like to know if I am at some kind of risk..Excellent thread, thank you.
