So one day, a traveling band of 'mystic-whatever' comes into town and arranges a 'meeting' on the campus of the college I was working at. (Think of an old-time revival meeting, but in the middle of China and you can't understand most of what is being chanted) Me and a friend decided to crash the scene to see what was afoot. Well, at the door a fella was handing out these little marble-sized 'pellets' of something or other. And as the main dude was doing his thing, folks started dropping like flies! Leaping out of their seats (just like a revivalist meeting kind of thing), shouting out some ecstacy or other, and hitting the deck! Well now, this was all very interesting and became more so as the size and shape of these people started to change. The 'audio' was coming in and out, and I was aware that I was moooooving slooooow.
Needless to say, at the end of the meeting my friend and I covertly made our way up to the main section and pocketed a few fistfuls of those little pellets. |

Oh, I don't think I'll run across these things again any time soon. The local pushers don't stock these, I'd wager. They were some sort of herbal-whatever stuff rolled up in a ball. They looked like oatmeal and grass rolled up in a ball, or enormous funked-out bunny droppings (hey!  ) |
