Rep Power: 0 | | Plees don't put me to the Qi Lounge... I've been doing the postures, which I picked up from the article here "External Qi Healing - A Primer" -by Rich Meaney. And I have a question..
While standing in these postures I've tried to imagine a ball between my hands to help me keep the right distance between them. And to my amazement I've actually started to feel a soft, plumpy ball. My hands seem or feel to repel each other like two skin-magnets
Is this a correct feeling or a hallusinative product of my stupid irrational mind
Qi is a totally new aspect to me and I don't know it's nature, yet... So
I know that when you think hard enough you can almost feel the object you're thinking in your hand but the feeling I experienced felt very real...

Rep Power: 100 | | | It does exist, and it will start from alone if you do a posture and move, but I would stay from explaining it to draw some conclusions before having experienced from intuition what "it is useful for". And I would not control the feeling since it should be the feeling that controls what it does. There are many reasons why people began "exploring" this with just standing there not thinking of the things which should happen, just waiting for anything. The meridians from which the actions initiate are distributed all over the body, middle of the chest, hands, throat, feet, so the right feeling will cover all the body, not only the one giving a electrical strong will feeling hurting in the forehead. The reason is that many feelings are involved in finding the amount of action necessary, just liking to hurt back is not the sole party to decide if you take a life. The result is enabling something like a life or death force, and it might be very huge. You have to be careful that the progress in understanding the results of your actions can always take pace with the amount of power you can already command. A lot work is emotional. |

Rep Power: 0 | | Well, I can't control the feeling or force it anyhow, it seems to come with no "brain-effort". Just by simply standing in any of the postures...
Oh, and HOW the HELL can I produce chi-balls between my hands only after about 4 months of Qi-Gong To me it sounds amazing almost like "InstantInnerPower"-stuff and for that I feel myself ridiculous! Does it have something to do with intuition Perhaps Are you sure its not just a feeling Or can you even speculate it in any way with the information I gave I was almost hoping that you would say that it was a product of my stupid, irrational mind...

Well, at this stage, I should propably try to emnate a burning chi ball, a blue one sounds nice enough...
To be honest, I feel like I can... Whoops, I unintendently destroyed my mouse...
Oh poor mouse, would Qi-Gong-Healing help

I feel shame and embaressement after writing that but I just can't take this thing seriously enough.

On a second thought... throw this article to the Qi-Lounge...

Rep Power: 63 | | I have experienced what you are discussing here. Nik definately knows what he's talking about!
In the beginning, it was like you stated. I only felt it in my hands as Rin tin described. After a while though, the feeling has definately spread. I mainly focus on letting things flow where they need to and not forcing anything. Eventually a lot of emotional work will be involved also.
There is a qigong exercise called "pulling chi" which makes use of this feeling. I will have to re-research it, whereas I never practiced it much.
Just be careful with this, dont want fireballs shooting out!
Just Kidding.
But seriously, this involves alot of interpretation of feeling and energy. So just keep practicing, you will notice a lot of other "feelings" soon enough.
You are "feeling" this energy in your hands. Your "feeling" is the only way you have of knowing that the energy is flowing there.

Rep Power: 100 | | | Why you can "produce" things feeling like this immediately Because it is natural I could do that instinctively in primary school at 6, and I knocked another child inconscious instinctively at the age of 9 when he suddenly rushed me while I was inaware (and this was playful, without me even intending). It is not a magic bolt, just something stimulating muscles, producing a high impact on connecting. When stimulated by feelings like this, your muscles can penetrate the withstanding of muscles not using this ignition like wet paper. It's what makes internal styles work. The inconscious part is important, more than anything you want to happen. The "magic ball" is just a wrong impression of this effect taking place when you bring your hands in this posture. I have it all the time, with the fingers having this irritating tickling on the surface of bones, but it can happen everywhere in the body, making moves under this ignition powerful to the maximum possible by the muscles and ligaments you have. Comparable to extreme fear, rage or other feelings doing it. Remember the strength of "insane" people in the hospitals, when they tick out, you need many people stopping them, and they're just untrained ordinary people. You can have this power in every day mode once you explore and undergo the change to necessary "connections" in the mind. Noone can enforce this, you have to undergo the change, or you never involve what makes the brain use this archaic metabolism extentions. It happens when you meditate in too deep meditation to interfere the result happening from conscious ideas, and the mind gets deeply interconnected with the inner feelings. This is why you need the time of meditation in stillness or moving, standing for long time in trance. Not doing anything but getting "rewired" from inside. The body stuff happens when you move slow enough to favour a certain type of muscle power, which will get, more and longer favoured, the default movement procedure. It's a long procedure, and it contains no magic other than the beautiful selfhealing and selfpromoting abilities of the soul, when you stay away from bothering it long enough to make it do its work. This is why you need half an hour everyday with not bothering yourself doing hey and this and that for getting that woman who never wanted to take notice of you. And which might be completely invalid for your life once you notice that 70% of the people in too technified socities are bozos (male or female) desperately searching for themselves while talking a lot of bull**** over what is important, who does count, who is the greatest and who isn't. For whatever. |

Rep Power: 100 | | Rin-Tin-Tin, good for you. Enjoy the feeling you have experienced and use it to inspire you to continue down this path.
Nik, your advice is always right on the mark. Honored to be in your company. |

Rep Power: 63 | | | Sorry Rin Tin...I didnt mean to imply that you thought Nik didnt know what he was talking about...I was just stating that I agreed with him. I guess I could have worded that a little better.
Fuzzy30:
I second that!
