Qi gong exercises

Breath in, breath out, breath in, breath out. It is hard not to be a master at Qigong. Everyone on earth, that is living, practices Qigong. In fighting you exhale at the point of thrust and it develops strength. If you shout out loud with every forward thrust of blocking punching striking or kicking it is a way of securing the fact that you are exhaling at the needed time as well as working psychology on your opponent.

1. Qigong is a bit more than just breathing, although just breathing per se isn't wrong, and can help a lot alone. However, Qigong contains moving, stretching, massaging.

2. You do NOT per se exhale on contact. And, it especially has NOTHING to do with "internal strength". On using internal strength, you hold breath on contact because it could otherwise hurt, and the massive muscle contraction also inhibits other muscle activities, like breathing.

Everyone may be doing a little bit of qi gong, but few are masters of it. Being a master of something means having conscious control of that thing, whether you are a painter or a martial artist. I can draw a stick figure but it does not make me a master painter, you see?

conscious control is old world thinking. Don't think. React. When you react to all that is around you in the Spirit then you are indeed a master. Every one was born with air in their lungs but few were born with a paint brush in their hands but what sells is not art.
