Looking for Qigong meditation technique...

Hi.
I was wondering if there are anyone who knows about any good qigong meditation techniques, that I can do daily? My goal is to do a qigong meditation session each day, so that I will be able to transfer my chi into any bodypart, and make it stronger or harder

Any suggestions?

Thnx.

Search the forums here, there are plenty of topics on this already.
Also, search on google and youtube.

I have a couple of pdf files I could send you that lay out basic qi gong, iron shirt breathing and meditation postures to get you started. Shoot me an email at atey6datyahoodotcom.

Keep in mind though, it will take you many years of practice and alot of concentration to achieve what you are asking, with chi. Plus, to learn it correctly without a qualified instructor could not only be quite dangerous, but also very frustrating. There is only so much you can learn in printed form concerning martial arts and meditation unless you have some sort of practical application to relate it to.

Reserve a place in a mental hospital now if you are trying to "control your qi" and "send it to any body part". What do you think the body does on its own the whole day ? All you need to do is easing the flow which can easily be done with massages and a bit of stretching and slow moving practices, and learning what NOT to do to your mind.

Meditation is simple. Either you stand there holding a simple posture, or you sit around in the garden and do NOTHING. No speaking, just sitting there, drinking coffee at will, and watching the scenery. If you do it the old way you stand there watching the horizon, just don't overdo that.

Pick up simple Taijiquan, do that 30 minutes a day in a VERY slow fashion (medium afterwards at your liking), and the mentioned meditation. Do NOT shove around your liquids in the body just for "being cool", or inflict random fantasy feelings.

The 'meditation' we use, is your own 3-D inventory,...keeping track of correct joint line-up,calm full breathing techniques, relaxing/subtle flexing of all muscle groups, subtle grabbing the floor with your toes, keeping the spine naturally straight, lifting the bai-hui point, sinking the huai-yin point,etc.'...self-body mental inventory is a very real & effective way to 'meditate'. Your 'Chi' knows where to go,...lol'. Coach Li
