Rep Power: 0 | | | Chi Gung Chi Gung has been known amongst many things to enhance life, cultivate energy, and cure certain diseases. Are there certain types of Chi Gung that will regrow hair, repair eyesight, regrow teeth I have heard of one particular chi gung that does regrow teeth. Since everything on the external human form pertains to the internal I am very curious to know if even chi gung has its limitations when it comes the human form. |

I have been into chi kung for some years now and have not come by anything known to grow hair. I would for sure have more hair if I found some practice that would stimulate its growth.

Rep Power: 0 | | | Thanks fuzzy30. I just curious about those specific things and since I have not heard of any chi gung related to those items, I wonder if the information was just lost over time. |

Rep Power: 7 | | | Well, here is Mr. Supporter-of-Western-Science out to confuse you.
I hail from India, and have heard a lot about Qigong ( mind reminding that the yogic forms of kung fu was taken to China by Indian monks). I did a bit with my training. Qigong is a positive exercise that refreshes the air in your cells, enlivens them, and most interestingly, allows to be very soft (soft enough to stand on a rack of eggs without breaking any) and very hard (hard enough to stop sharp spears from injuring you )
But I certainly do not believe that Qigong is the ultimate form of medicine, and it can provide the protiens and pigments your body needs from nowhere. Hair doesn't grow by breathing.
And besides, you'll have hair only where you are supposed to, because the cells are not everywhere, and no breathing, and no one else breathing on you, can make cells appear where they shouldn't be. If this had been possible qigong might also have been able to turn men into dogs, and vice versa.
Hope I have made myself clear. |

Rep Power: 78 | | | yo yo yo - stepping on eggs aint no chi gung.
balance tricks - stepping ona rack - flat sole - even distribution. The higher the stack the easier. No breathing required. Just relaxing and practice.
as for spears, I've seen some wild stuff - most others are just circus tricks!!!!
But B, I agree with you. Otherwise, I'll start growing hair in my but crack and there's no chigung to ungrow that. ANd you know razors don't do well there so we're left with waxing and I don't do wax.
Hahahahahahahaha

Rep Power: 0 | | I personnally think that Chi Kung helps the cells to stay in a healthy state for a longer time, but not eternally because we are not immortal. I does not revert the cell's aging process, but keeps it at its best.
And of course, if it does not revert the cell's aging process, it certainly does not give new functionnalities. New functionnalities would mean mutation ! That's not what happens...
By breathing well and by having a good flow of chi (energy) inside your body, you give to your cells (skin, organs, blood, bones, everything...) the opportunity to work at their best.
Chi Kung is the personnal, constant and perseverant cultivation of energy to let the body work at its best. |

Rep Power: 15 | | | Hairy Palms? I've heard rumours about a method which is supposed to make hair grow on your palms, but I've never heard it called Qigong.

Chi Kung will not do these anymore than it is capable to changing your genetics such as eye color. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | Chi Kung in general is meant to be better for your health and slows physical aging, and thus makes hair greying and loss either less likely, or comes in later then most people, but I don't think it'll keep your hair forever, nor regrow it. | |
