Rep Power: 9 | | Is it true? About 10 minutes ago I was sitting in bed eating some rice cakes watching the discovery chanel when all of a sudden this show called Super Human Strength came on. The first segiment was on Martial arts and this man who had the ability to knock some one out cold with out laying a singer finger one them using hot Chi balls and throwing them at them. He said that it usually takes a few years to aquire this type of chi power.
Ok we all know chi is real and I still wish to know how to harness the chi power So heres where my 2 questions come in. Question 1.) Can Chi become so strong that you can knock some one out from a few feet away....because to be it sounds like something from a Dragon Ball Cartoon. Question 2.) Im pretty sure you've been getting chi questions up the yang...but my question is what are the top 3 best ways to sharpen your Chi and using your Chi. |

Rep Power: 157 | | | 1) Some people say yes, some say no. To my knowlege no one has ever demonstrated this convincingly under scientific test conditions. I'm sure if you look around your area you will be able to find a teacher (usually tai chi for some reason) who claims to be able to do something similar, or a visiting master who claims it. Then you can go and check it out for yourself.
2) Different people will give you different answers but Chi kung would be a good place to start. I'm a big believer in the tree standing postures. Ba duan jin is good too.

Rep Power: 11 | | | 1) Chi can be felt by another person from a few inches away, and small shock can be given with a light touch, but i think thats about as far as it goes. Blasting someone with it from feet away, perhaps its kind of like the equivalent of being able to pick up a house: It could be done if someone was strong enough, but nobody is! The blasts of chi etc in films etc are exaggerated in the same way that supermans strength is exaggerated.
2) Qi Gong (Chi Kung) is an art which is dedicated to doing this + other health benefits. |

If you find a qi gong master/grandmaster then they might be able to show you. Maybe a Tai Chi master? Also Reiki healers possibly as i think this may have a similar effect, (i have heard reiki healers called poor qi gong practitioners). I am refering to the feeling from inches away, rather than the shock, im not sure if pure healers would be able to do the shock, they probably could though....
Side note: I respect the fact that you probably dont believe this, but are willing to find out rather than just dismissing it. |

Rep Power: 163 | | | I know some Tai Chi practitioners and they can't do anything like that. They also don't know anyone who can do anything like that. Can you point me in a direction, perhaps give me the name of someone?

Look up Qi Healing, or Qi Gong therapy. You could also try asking at your nearest chinese medicine/acupuncture place |

Rep Power: 143 | | | were you talking to me cam?
when you get into some bio energy manipulation (usually sexual in content)
the field can be felt once you have managed to energise it (this takes alot of practise admittedly but can be done quickly with drugs)
the influence of the field bewtween yourself and your partner can be felt at a small distance
i dont mean like a zapping electric shick
more bristling of the skin and hair follicals
in my opinion 'chi' and this bio energy are one and the same
look up orgone, sex magick, tantra............etc...............

Rep Power: 61 | | | In my opinion, the ONLY thing related to qi that one can feel as transmitted from one to another is body heat. Period, end of story.
The rest of the idea of qi is simply one of MANY ideas (you can search for things like "The 5 textures") used to explain all of the things that normally happen, that you do on a normal basis; the extraction of energy (calories) from the process of digestion, the movement of muscle via neural impulse, mood, the flow of blood.
Dont worry about qi; its just something to explain what you are ALREADY doing. There is no such thing as super-duper qi balls or exploding poison spring fist power attacks, or any other type of supernatural power.
With that said, you *can* learn to feel it better, become more in tune with it, but it certainly wont give you any "special powers". Diligent practice of qigong is all you need. |

Here's a name for you, Heg Robinson. I found this clip of his power of controlling one’s chi with his Telekinetic Tai Chi. http://www.roxburytaichiacademy.com/...netic%20bb.wmv http://www.roxburytaichiacademy.com/ Now, do I beleive this power... No! It was funny to watch, but at the same time it was sad to see how this gives Chi and Tai Chi a bad name. Anyhow, I thought I share what I found, if not already been seen by others. Later!
