Can people stop talking about shooting balls of flaming qi out of their hand unless they can prove it. It is so easy to put a short vid onto the net now so if you can do these "Hadokens" please just post up a vid and we will all come worship you ok. Otherwise STFU !!

O BTW that doesn't mean i think qi is a load of balls, quite the opposite in fact. And beginners dont give up just coz it isn't DBZ,SF2 ok.

Ok guys. I posted this message in a similar forum called "Can someone help me learn how to bring my Qi out into an energy ball", and it seems to have answered a lot of questions there, so Iceman and JKD, you guys already know what I'm gonna put... :

I am 45 and for the past 10 years I have been running from this gang, because I almost killed one of their members using my Chi. A bunch of them jumped me when I was walking home from the local dojo, and since I was worn out, they were very close to overtaking me. And the reason why other people "see" "hear" or "feel" these "Chi balls" is probably because they are expecting to see it, or because if they say they don't see it, it'll offend you. I once read an article on Chi saying that it all came from the Black Star of Yan (Ying Yan), which our sun and our whole solar system revolve around. thats like saying that I'm farting out big clouds of Chi because I ate a big bowl of Chi-licious baked beans."

I seriously doubt the abilities of a teenager to posess extremely advanced chi abilities. Especially not the ability to shoot a visible ball of energy.
There are numbers of grandmasters who have been training in their abilities for twice as long as some of you have been alive. The closest they come to displaying any physically visible 'chi superpowers' are abilities such as being able to slightly move people or objects with their qi projection techniques.
For an example, I'll use Grandmaster Rich Mooney (a highly respecteed martial artist and contributor to DL). He has demonstrated his lin kong jing abilites to give people a push, without throwing balls of energy at them. Here are a few videos:

Just a theorie (got to be annoying already).

I saw it, it looks like a magnetic field. Well his energy expression works on a larger surface so try to imagine this....

Light - normal light expression = larger surface LASER = one point

Chi - lin kong jing = larger surface SOME QI BEAM = one point

Based on compressing energies, it becomes visible and stronger (light can't cut, laser can)

Problem is in compressing the energy, nobody knows how and we all (here) know compressing it is not good for our health (inside our body) IT'S ALL IN HOW TO CONCENTRATE/COMPRESS IT.

It's also about AMOUNT... A laser made from simple batteries (called a pointer...) makes a visible point, but CUT A cutting laser has a machine behind supplying a LOT of power, not from "nowhere", but from devices delivering LOTS of voltage. I see that you can produce "steering quality" energy of the amount the body uses for steering itself, but you cannot simply take UNLIMITED amounts of energy just from "concentration". Out of the nothing. You have to produce the input, by providing a lot of voltage, cold fusion, your choice. Ordinary people die from being exposed to voltages enough to produce a flash.

With all the claims and tales of chinese origin, there would definetly have been huge stories of people who could throw flashes "after a long blabla and blabla but soso training". Whatever you find is:

- jumping very high (okay, in the strong version over houses, but JUMP, not fly)
- having very large pushing/fajinging power
- getting very old
- still having power when old
- being invulnerable to illness
- being able to heal others
- having an extremely loud voice shaking feelings of people

No flashes, glowing eyes, flying or moving objects with Qi. Not even in fairy tales. All of the above seem to me to be "enhancements" of simple body abilities. With some limits regarding the size of the experienced amount of abilities, I have experienced ALL of the above. It is even somewhat familiar from the time I had it over a period of months.

When not even the old chinese, having invented that sort of exercises, do not even claim in fairy tales such abilities, it seems very obvious to me these kind of "abilities" came over from western expectations of Superman powers, featuring the X-Men, Hulk, or whomever.

Well chi is NOT LIGHT and i don't know from where you get it (food, air, matter itself) in big amounts. Light was put as a example.

Well i saw that chi can be sent through air, now (Gichii's mpg's)
so it is proven, you don't need much power to produce a laser beam when you have light, when you have it (how strong isn't essential) just goto get it compressed. You have a ruby or sth to convert light into laser, for chi i don't know (maybe it converts normal in our body - trained persons i mean - but our chi isn't eoungh to make the beam visible, and we never tryed it except hadoken that looks more like a fajing punch it comes and stays in our body)
