Also, was anyone else sorely disappointed by "REAL stick vs. brick"? I totally thought a guy was going to fight someone by swinging a brick around.

I too was disappointed, I was hoping he was going to show us how having a stick could defeat anyone with a brick by batting it outa the park.

I think I just worked it out. It's self defense against multiple armed midgets. He just didn't have any little fellows around. He should have explained himself properly.

Come on man, you can't throw that out there and the NOT post a clip!

ace6foot8,

Will this do ? Thing like this make me very sad.

hhahaha. Wow that takes me back...

"Mind, Body, and Kick-ass moves", the first martial arts documentary I ever watched religiously. I was living in piss no-where china at the time and I had just started studying wushu and tai chi. This show was like crack to me. And much like crack, it was great the first time, and slowly got worse and worse until I could barely watch it. while this is a good example of the kind of crap they "investigated", it doensn't hold a candle to:
3. the dudes who cultivated telekinetic and psychic powers by meditating under waterfalls.

2. the Japanese guy who could stun people over by shouting.

And coming in at number one:

1. The group who summoned spirits to inhabit their body and pass on their un-dead fighting arts.

If you watch the first season of "Mind body etc.", and speak Chinese, his translations are worth sitting through the rest. Unfortunately, his Chinese improved considerably as the show went on.

My favourite was him showing the female wrestlers how to break a wine glass.
