Rep Power: 33 | | | I really don't care for the weapons. I think it's a bias I picked up with CLF since what we do empty handed we do with weapons. But if I had to choose... sin(fan), dip dao(butterfly swords), gun(single headed stick), cerng bei sao (double daggers)... not in that order or even preference.

Rep Power: 3 | | | yep',...Nunchaku is an Okinawan weapon I believe,...however the Chinese also have a double-stick weapon called; "shuang-jie-Gun",(pronounced shwong-jyeh-Guhn), anyway it just means 'double-section-stick',...lol'. It is the same 'basic' idea except the striking-end of the two-sticks is a little longer than the handle-side,(not to be confused with the 'Coiling Dragon-tail Staff', which is a staff-length weapon with a very short stick on the striking end). Anyway',...I prefer the 'Tiger Hook Swords' ,...they have multiple sharp points, hooks like a sharp cane, and half-moon blades on the out-side of the handle area. An excellent multi-purpose double weapon about the length of a sword. Coach Li |

Rep Power: 3 | | | Doughboy, Yes,...in Chinese they are called; "Hu Tou Gou Dao",(Tiger Head Hook Sword),...or; "Hu Yueh Gou Dao",(Tiger Moon Hook Sword), because of the half-cresent 'moon' shape blade at the handle. Thanks, Coach Li |

Rep Power: 53 | | | Always looked at those thinking how bad it would suck to have one of those hooks catch you on the ankle.

Yeah not so good. We've got one where you hook one sowrd onto the other & swing like a chain whip... including jumping over the damn things 3 times. Not for me.
