Rep Power: 45 | | | Favorite Chinese Weapon? What is your favorite Chinese kung fu weapon (Braodsword? Kwon Do? Pu Dao? Whip Chain? Straight Sword? Spear? Hook Spear? Snake Spear?Battle Ax?Trident? Staff (or as Shaolin Do calls it, Bo), Etc...?
My favorite weapon is the hook spear because it has several different ways in which it can be used (using the hook or the spear).

Rep Power: 82 | | I have always liked the staff, way before my MA days. From watching versions of Robin Hood where Friar Tuck used the staff (and Daffy Duck using the staff ) to watcing Gabrielle in Xena fight with one.
I like them more than swords.
But I don't know a lot of weapons yet, so my opinion may change. I think I will always have the staff up there though.
