Rep Power: 39 | | | Stationary bike at the gym. Thinking about buying an actual bike, don't know what kind yet, to ride to PT on my days off. However, I'm afraid of being run over because the drivers here have no respect for pedestrians or bicyclists |

Get you a Gary Fisher Mountain bike thats what I have and I love it. Its a really good bike.

Rep Power: 54 | | | Spin bikes are "fixed", like a tricycle, the wheel makes the pedals keep spinning if you try to stop. See if you can find one of those.
Most mountain bikes over $400 are pretty good, although you get something way nicer for $600. Only serious enthusiasts usually spend more. Budget for a helmet and all the other goodies too.

how a about a Bmx bike Like a Free agent maverick bmx bike, The are awesome but medium sized because their made for professional Bmxing.
They cost about $180.
They last a long time.
