Redding Tai Chi Meditation Garden project video is now online

Members of Redding Tai Chi are involved in building a Tai Chi court in our city. The design is based on the David Chen Memorial Tai Chi Court in Rockville MD. The Wuwei Tai Chi Club there has been giving us advice on the project and allowed us to use their design. We call our project the Redding Tai Chi Meditation Garden. We have all the elements in place except for the funding. However, we have the opportunity to raise the money by qualifying for a grant from the USA Today Network. This competition involves creating a video about our project and then getting people to vote on it. I would like to ask members of the Dragon's List to help us and vote for our project. Voting starts April 12, 2017. Here's the details:

The Redding Tai Chi Meditation Garden project video has been submitted to the "A Community Thrives" (ACT) grant competition. The National Voting Period will begin on April 12, 2017 and end on May 12, 2017.
Voting will begin at 8:59am PST on April 12, 2017 and end at 8:59am PST on May 12, 2017. You can vote by viewing our submission at  http://act.usatoday.com/submit-an-idea/#/gallery/60443995  on the A Community Thrives (ACT) official website during the Voting Period. There is a maximum of one (1) vote per person, per day. The top 10 voted submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges. The panel will determine the top three applicants in each category who will be awarded grants of either $50,000 or $100,000 each.

Winning the grant will mean we can go forward with building the Tai Chi Meditation Garden. It is very important that you vote every day and also encourage your family and friends to vote for this project. Remember, we need to get into the top ten most popular videos to win.

We appreciate your support!
